At Tello Tech ("the Company"), operator of Money Manager ("the Service"), we take your data privacy very seriously. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how we protect it, and what your rights are. By using the Service, you accept the practices described in this policy.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide

  • Account data: name, email address, and password when you register.
  • Financial data: transactions, bank accounts, budgets, savings goals, debts, and recurring payments that you manually enter in the application.
  • Biometric authentication data: if you enable Touch ID or Face ID, biometric credentials are stored exclusively on your device, not on our servers.
  • AI assistant queries: the questions you ask Auri to generate personalized responses.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Usage data: pages visited, features used, and frequency of use.
  • Device data: browser type, operating system, and screen resolution.
  • Performance data: errors and performance metrics through Sentry to improve Service stability.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
  • Generate financial reports, charts, and projections based on your data.
  • Power the AI assistant (Auri) so it can answer your financial queries in a personalized way.
  • Send you notifications about your account, upcoming payments, or budget alerts (if enabled).
  • Detect and prevent fraudulent or abusive activities.
  • Monitor errors and improve application stability.

4. AI Assistant (Auri) and Your Data

Auri uses artificial intelligence models provided by Anthropic (Claude) to generate responses. When you consult Auri:

  • Your relevant financial data is sent to the AI model to generate a contextualized response.
  • Anthropic does not use data sent through its API to train its models.
  • Conversations with Auri are not permanently stored on our servers.
  • We do not share your financial data with Anthropic beyond what is necessary to process your query.

5. Storage and Security

Your data is stored and protected as follows:

  • Database: Supabase (Amazon Web Services infrastructure), with servers in the United States.
  • Encryption in transit: all communications between your device and our servers are encrypted via TLS/HTTPS.
  • Encryption at rest: data stored in the database is encrypted.
  • Passwords: stored with bcrypt hashing, never in plain text.
  • Authentication: sessions managed through JWT tokens with 30-day expiration.

6. Sharing Information with Third Parties

We do not sell or share your personal or financial information with third parties, except in the following cases:

  • Service providers: we use essential third-party services to operate (Supabase for database, Vercel for hosting, Anthropic for AI, Resend for emails, Sentry for error monitoring). These providers only access the data necessary to provide their service.
  • Legal obligation: if required by law or necessary to protect our legal rights.

7. Cookies and Local Storage

Money Manager uses:

  • Session cookies: to keep your session active after signing in.
  • localStorage: to store preferences such as the theme (light/dark) and PWA data for offline functionality.
  • Service Worker: to enable offline functionality and PWA notifications.

We do not use tracking cookies, advertising, or third-party analytics.

8. Your Rights

As a Money Manager user, you have the right to:

  • Access: request a copy of the data we have about you.
  • Rectification: correct incorrect or outdated data from your account settings.
  • Deletion: request complete deletion of your account and all associated data.
  • Export: export your financial data in PDF or CSV format at any time.
  • Cancellation: cancel your subscription at any time without penalties.

9. Data Retention

We retain your data as long as you maintain an active account on the Service. If you request deletion of your account, we will delete all your personal and financial data within a maximum of 30 days, except for data we must retain for legal obligations.

10. Minors

Money Manager is not intended for people under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from minors. If we discover that a minor has created an account, we will delete it along with all associated data.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Significant changes will be notified through your email or through a notice within the Service. We recommend reviewing this page regularly.
